Inspired

I love bikes. Bikes and everything about them. From the oldest classic to the height of technologic advances and every two wheeled step between those extremes.

A visit to a bike shop is a thrill with the sights, smells and sounds of steel, aluminum, carbon, rubber and leather. Where the shine of the new floor models and the grace of the classics come together. And where those beyond repair end their days.

The look of absolute joy on the face of a child who has mastered the skill of letting the bike find it's balance and going along for the ride. The grimace of a racer as they cross the line at the upper threshold of their body's limits. The smiles of a family riding together. The feeling of satisfaction after finishing the longest ride of a lifetime in support of a cause. The friendships bonded by the common love of a simple machine. I love not only riding a bike but being around them and the unending variety of people that they gather.

This site is my tip of the hat to the humble bicycle, one of man's most enduring inventions.
